Synthesizing and manipulating a sound space. Creating a virtual acoustic reality independent from the concrete architectural context meant as a mean of sound propagation. Planning an installation which allows an interaction/reaction with this reality. Modifying the experience of the audience. Experience-telexperience. Reworking/altering the sound space through virtual sources in movement.
Sound space as sound body. Space in a geometric-like abstraction that leads
us into an immersive whole. The coordinates X, Y, Z, are not able anymore to denote completely this new dimension. The listener/audience is supposed to have his/her own space to think over in order to become creator him-herself. Due to the inorganicity of the object, the work is not meant to be an “own” work.
Verifying the fusion listener-interpreter-creator. The perception of the sound body
follows acusmetric rules through which the sound can be heard from all over the place. Hence, nobody is forced to be fixed on a single image or written text, since the visual space does not determine the discernment of a single image. The sound itself is not an information BUT component of the space, since it can subsist only within a space. Its extension and its function deals necessarily within the space.
