THE SIGNAL THIEF

THE SIGNAL THIEF
Screenplay and Direction Dan Moscovitch. Ludo Dragalo is a collector of noise, a signal theif, a slave to The Wirebug, a musical dictator who lives deep below in the Nether World. Unfortunately for Ludo, our protagonist, he knows only the world of sonic collection -; his father was a collector and as he can speak no discernable language, he is bound to work for The Wirebug, whether he likes it or not. Ludo, who is constantly cursing and grumbling, walks with a slight limb, a dodgy tramp like character, with a style that seems to come from no particular epoch; he wears no modern clothes, just a frayed blanket and ripped long johns. Indeed Ludo is out of place in an urban setting and little idea of how to fit into society. He creeps around corners and peers down alleys, putting things inside his sack that arent his - trains , dogs bikes, babies. His sack is a portable black hole, a tardis, a link to the nether world where the musical dictator toils in his sonic furnace forging reality into industrial landscapes and urban breakbeats.
